After a successful six weeks, the top 7 teams in the online competition, battled it out at the prestigious Silverstone F1 race track on 11th December 2018 for the title of Race Team Manager Champions 2018. The day was a test of strategy, skill and tested the nerve of even the most confident of teams. ACO would like to thank all the teams involved for their enthusiasm, sportsmanship and contribution to the day making it brilliant fun for all involved. We are planning for Race Team Manager 2019 so watch this space!

The grand final was a battle down to the very last race with 7 motivated teams working together to bring home the trophy. The racing was the closest we have ever seen and Michael White from Destroyers of Panis, BuildBase – Civils & Lintels went home with the award for Outstanding Driver. Michael stuck with the plan from the beginning and showed commitment to winning the race, whatever it took – a very worthy winner. The semi-final was won in the final straight with a strategy including fewer pit stops to try and get ahead – it didn’t pay off as they ran out of fuel in the last corner showing just how important getting the strategy right is.
A spirited performance from Hotshots – Chandlers Building Supplies gave them the win – both of the Carrera racing championship and the overall day, very worthy winners to take the title of Race Team Manager Champions 2018.
